Commuter Car Parking Program
Environmental Planning Manager responsible for the environmental planning and assessments of various commuter car parks across Sydney Metropolitan and Greater Sydney Region. Responsibilities included planning and assessments of multiple car parks under Part 5 of the EP& Act, the Infrastructure SEPP specific to the program and relevant TCA planning requirements. The role also included environmental management of Helensburgh commuter car park during construction, this involves fortnightly site inspections to ensure compliance with environmental management plans and other site related plans, monthly compliance reporting in accordance with TCA’s EMS and undertaking environmental audits. Key aspect of the role included management of professional services contractors, internal and external stakeholder consultation relevant to the project and reviews of specialist studies.
South West Rail Link (SWRL)
Environment and Planning Manager, responsible for the preparation of a Review of Environmental Factors under Part 5 of the EP&A Act to facilitate the construction staging of the SWRL and it’s Determination Report. The role also included project management of a multi-disciplinary team involving technical managers, project managers, and professional services contractors and provision of environmental input to ensure compliance with key NSW and Commonwealth Legislation and other policy requirements for the detailed design of the of the SWRL.
Environmental Management Representative – TransGrid
Independent environmental auditor on behalf of TransGrid to review and endorse REFs and Construction Environmental Management Plans for several electrical substation upgrade projects. Role involved the preparation of induction materials, toolbox talks and fortnightly audits to ensure compliance with environmental management plans and legislation during the upgrade and duplication of high voltage electrical substations. Responsibilities included monitoring the implementation of controls in accordance with the Blue Book co-ordinating with sub-consultants and contractors and aligning environmental management responsibilities with the construction activities.
Compliance reporting - M7 2nd Year Audit Report, Westlink Services
Review and finalisation of 2nd Year Audit Report for Westlink M7 to ensure the operation of the M7 has been in accordance with the Minister’s Condition of Approval and the Operational Environmental Management Plan and relevant sub-plans of the M7 for submission to DP&I.
Sydney Water Corporation – Environmental Scientist
Environmental Scientist responsible for the coordination, which included the preparation of Review of Environmental Factors for the Sewer Relining Program (SRP) and Sewer Dig & Repair Program. Roles included review and endorsements of CEMPs and REFs for proposed Sydney Water Corporation (SWC) developments, managing construction contractors, internal and external liaison, GIS mapping of SWC sewer assets for the development of SWC Natural Environment Management Program, field assessments for SRP and SD&RP and represented SWC Environment and Planning team at monthly Sydney Central Weeds Meetings which included representatives from locals council within the Sydney central region, NPWS and Sydney Olympic Park Authority.
