TransGrid Capital Works Program- Substation Upgrade

Served as an independent environmental auditor on behalf of TransGrid to review and endorse
REFs and Construction Environmental Management Plans for several electrical substation upgrade
projects. Role involved the preparation of induction materials, toolbox talks and fortnightly audits
to ensure compliance with environmental management plans and legislation during the upgrade
and duplication of high voltage electrical substations. Responsibilities included monitoring the
implementation of controls in accordance with the Blue Book co-ordinating with sub-consultants
and contractors and aligning environmental management responsibilities with the construction
activities.
